1. You can lose a lot of sleep. Most babies wake up every two hours to be fed, changed, and burped. Try to rest as much as possible. http://life.familyeducation.com/postpartum/sleep/42949.html
2. You can’t hang out with your friends a lot because you now have to have a baby sitter. If you don’t have one, you can take the baby with you, but your fun may be limited.*
3. You can’t just leave whenever you want. You have to get the baby ready. That includes: bathing, dressing, packing a diaper bag and possibly getting the stroller ready. You have to be prepared for any kind of weather, so have a blanket just in case.*
4. If you breastfeed, you can’t just eat whatever you want; you have
to eat and drink fluids so that you can produce healthy milk for baby.

5. And last but not least, you can’t just think of yourself anymore. You have another human being to think about, and you can’t just put things off because you don’t feel like taking care of things. The baby is first priority, if it’s for baby, it needs to be done.
Your life doesn’t stop because you have a baby, but you do have an added responsibility. It’s important to find a balance between taking care of your baby, and taking time for yourself. It’s up to you to speed your life up but don’t speed it up too fast. Remember, you are responsible for your little one. http://www.womenshealth.gov/pregnancy/childbirthandbeyond/afterthebaby.cfm
